Did You Know?
-
That a poor credit rating is the number
one cause for consumers losing home loans, auto loans, and even jobs?
Approximately 70 million Americans suffer from negative credit! Many of
us realize far too late the impact bad credit can have on our lives and
correspondingly the lives of our families.
-
That with a poor credit rating, it is
likely you will pay higher interest rates for any type of loan? You may
even have difficulty qualifying for a loan at all!
-
That you may not secure the jobs you interview
for solely because employers have the right to rely on credit reports
when making their final selections for employment? Can you imagine
losing an incredible position because of your credit report?
-
That your future landlord will
undoubtedly use your credit report to determine if you will be able to
qualify under their guidelines to lease the apartment you wanted?
-
That even if you are confident that you
have good or even excellent credit, inaccurate information that's not
yours could actually show up at any time on your credit report? Recent
research by Consumer Reports showed that more than half the reports
studied had errors in them severe enough to keep the person from getting
a loan and another study by the United States Public Interest Research
Group found 70% of reports had errors in them. Hard to believe but it
could happen to you!
-
That there are many reasons for
contacting a credit repair service to help you rebuild your credit score
such as: too many report inquiries, report errors, collection items,
charge offs, late payments, bankruptcy, judgments, repossessions,
foreclosures, and tax liens?
-
There are three primary credit-reporting
agencies, also called Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRA's)? These
agencies are “for profit” corporations that collect and sell your
private personal information to creditors, insurers, employers,
landlords, and companies that solicit you directly for credit and
insurance offers. When you apply for a loan of any kind, this
lender/creditor will pull your credit report from at least one of these
bureaus. Although there are many other credit bureaus throughout the
United States, they are mainly affiliated with one of the three major
CRA's described above.
-
The requirements of the Fair Credit
Reporting Act and the average response time from the bureaus may cause
each credit cycle to be approximately 30 to 45 days. Most will see
results within the first two cycles and continue seeing results as their
reports continue cycling through the system.
